For as long as I can remember—through my childhood and into my young adult years—I was on a quiet, determined quest for clear, happy skin. I chased every “miracle” product that promised transformation, spending far too much on overhyped formulas that left me disappointed time and time again. My skin felt stubbornly average, and deep down, it chipped away at my confidence in ways I didn’t always admit out loud.
